WP: InsaneScientistsFinalError

Once again, let me apologise for abbreviating the title like that in order to get it to fit in the form. The correct title is... well... it's obvious, and it's also at the bottom of the wallpaper in case it isn't.

I almost placed this in the "Fractal" category, because the original image that I edited (extensively) to create this did resemble a simple fractal in many ways. It wasn't created by a fractal program, though, nor was it really a fractal; in fact, it was a screenshot from an AVS preset I had been working on for a while.

I'll admit, I was thinking about when I came up with the color scheme and the title for this one. It just started looking, for some reason, like the kind of explosion that might likely be caused by one of his characters, so I went ahead and continued going for that look.

Also, while working on this one, I discovered a really cool thing about Adjustment Layers in PSP; you can draw in them to create a mask for the effect! Most of the time, that ability isn't very useful, but then again, neither is the Blend Ranges feature, and I abused both of those features a little bit for this. Well, I say "abused", but I'm certainly not arguing with the result!

By the way, this is actually a new one, the first of two that I made last Wednesday.
